Abstract

Abstract

The author used the controversy arising from the entry of artificial intelligence (AI)-generated artwork into art competitions as a basis to discuss the implementation strategies of Two Supplementary Chapters to Lectures on the Principle of People’s Livelihood: Education and Recreation in the context of AI development and art education. First, the impact of AI on art was determined, and the value acceptance model was used to assess people’s willingness to accept or reject AI-generated artwork. Then, recommendations were made for art education guidelines. In this article, the author broadened the scope of discussion to include art-related issues in order to supplement Sunology Research. In the controversy surrounding AI-generated artwork, arguments for and against its entry into competitions serve as points of reflection for art education guidelines. Art education guidelines were included in Two Supplementary Chapters to Lectures on the Principle of People’s Livelihood: Education and Recreation, proposed by Chiang Kai-shek based on Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Principle of the People’s Livelihood. However, several decades have passed since the era in which they lived, and social operations and the way society works are vastly different today. Therefore, the author used the controversy arising from the entry of AI-generated artwork into art competitions as a basis to reexamine the art education guidelines from Two Supplementary Chapters to Lectures on the Principle of People’s Livelihood: Education and Recreation and proposed recommendations accordingly.
