To ChewJuly 12, 1897 MontrealMy dear Chew: I arrived here this morning on my way to Vancouver and theFar East. Our movement progressing wonderfully. I am called bythe members to join them in the East to plan the future affair. Howare you getting on? Can you do anything in Boston and New Yorkwith our patricts to help us in China? I shall stay in Vancouver until 2nd August, so I hope to hearfrom you before that time. I cannot give you my address now and you can post them incare of Mr. Walter N. Fong, 916 Washington St., San Francisco. He will forward to me when he gets my address in Vancouver.I cannot tell you anything definite about our future movement atpresent but will tell you when the matter is decided by the party.
