摘要(外文): | Cultural competitive power is the core competitive power for a nation or an area. An ever-growing economy necessitates an ever-growing culture. Knowledge, wisdom and creativity are major productive elements for culture industry that integrates the cutting edges sharpened by knowledge concentration, information concentration and technology concentration. Nowadays, culture has made itself known as one of the most essential economic industries. Most countries are competing against each other for culture industry developments. So, China is no exception. "The 10th 5-year-program proposal" raised during the 5th Meeting of the 15th CPC (Communist Party of China) National Congress suggested that China use the phrase "Culture Industry" And the very phrase has entered into strategic horizon of China's national development since then. The report made by the 16th CPC National Congress also advised that China place equal emphases on both "Culture Enterprise and Culture Industry". The general concept of culture industry was repeatedly adopted in the Congress Reports. In addition, the 4th Meeting of the 16th CPC National Congress, has further posited that China "liberate and advance the productivity of culture" and it has also timely quested on China's culture construction and culture industry. At the 5th Meeting of the 16th CPC National Congress, the 11th 5-year-program propounded in a paragraph deliberating the idea of "enriching our people's spiritual life" and explicitly offered an array of culture industry missions. At the 17th CPC National Congress, Hu Jintao, the General Secretary of CPC reiterated that China's culture industry development must go full steam ahead. China must carry out the leading strategy supported by the major items in culture industry; speed up constructing culture industry bases and localized culture industry groups; foster backbone enterprises and strategic investors needed in culture industry; prosper culture markets and beef up China's strength in international competition. Base on the facts that Chinese leaders see culture industry as a gigantic driving force which they believe will enhance and better the industrial structure, augment the job opportunities, elevate the quality of metropolitan culture, Cui-heng village (翠亨村) in Dr. Sun Yat-sen City, Guangdong Province, completely seizes the advantage of its history and culture resources as well as ecological environment on promoting "Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Hometown". The village is forging its city trademark by image of celebrity while planning and constructing culture industry park. Firstly, this article is going to describe the definition and park patterns of culture industry; secondly, it will probe into the developmental policies for Chinese culture industry; thirdly it deals with the recent developmental planning and progress of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's culture industry park and finally, analyzes the bottleneck residing in its developments along with the findings from my research.
