摘要(外文): | Globalization is becoming a significant academia research topic nowadays and it is also an important indicator for social development. Globalization is a process of time-space compression which has been shortening the distance among people in the world and increasing their interaction. Although globalization facilitates the development of free economy, the flow of capital and the growth of transnational companies, it also deepens the difference of richness and poverty and puts too much emphasis on universal principles. With all the negative impact brought by globalization, there is happening the movement of anti-globalization and localization around the world. These contested phenomena show us that the discussion of the issues of globalization requires diverse perspectives to comprehend the implication of globalization. Sun Yat-sen is a thinker of the beginning of 20th century which is an age very different from the globalization. Nonetheless, the issues Sun Yat-sen discussed, including the issues about cosmopolitanism, imperialism and capitalism are essentially similar with the issues of globalization. Sun is mastery of Chinese thought and western political theories and has an informed eye on the world situation. In his thought, Sun adopts the dual-perspective to resolve social problems and this perspective provides some insights on the discussion on globalization. This article aims to analyze Sun Yat-sen's Three Principles of the People with the concept of globalization and reveal the implication it can bring to modern society.
